A photo a week from our life in Christ in the Orthodox Church

In mid-July, we went to the All-American Council in Baltimore, MD. The All-American Council (AAC) occurs every 3 years when the entire Orthodox Church of America meets as a church body to worship and discuss matters of the church organization. Each morning of the conference at 7:00 am, a different diocese hosted a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy for several hundred faithful. These were beautiful services spoken in the language (s) of that region. What a joy to see my godson serving four mornings. I was able to snap a photo of Caeden serving with a priest from the Diocese of Mexico on the last morning.  Other than the super early wake-ups, he said he absolutely loved every minute.

Angie Nasrallah is a Jesus follower, light seeker, and nature lover.  A sucker for a decent cup of green tea, when not in quarantine, you can find Angie at her local coffee shop with her 13-year-old studying history or writing poetry.   When she's not teaching high school English classes to homeschoolers, you'll find her outside with a camera, in the kitchen, or reading in a hammock with her husband.
